Barton introduces federal bill for online poker

Joe Barton, a Texas congressman, moved forward with the introduction of another bill that is geared to the legalization of online poker within the U.S at a federal level. Ex Absolute Executive released from Prison

One of the co-founders of disbanded internet poker site Absolute Poker was released from prison last week after serving 10 months of a 14 month prison sentence laid down by the United States federal government. Brent Beckley, 32, was released after he served the sentence for money laundering and bank fraud charges. Beckley plead guilty to the charges and was sentenced by US Federal Judge Lewis Kaplan.
