Online Gambling News from Italy

Online Game provider IGT has just announced that it has formed a partnership with iSoftBet to create and provide gaming content to the Italian market. The result will see iSoftBet integrate the game portfolio it currently operates into the WagerWorks slots, which is now owned by IGT, and make these available through the use of a remote game server. This will allow iSoftBet licensees and those who play under them to be able to access all of the games that are included in the IGT portfolio.  The main focus of this merge will begin within the Italian marketplace and then expand from there.

IGT IGTCommercial Director Leigh Nissim has stated “The partnership with iSoftBet will allow IGT to become established within Italy, which is a key are within the European Union.  The ability to integrate the IGT portfolio of games is a significant step forwards for our continued growth and development. It allows iSoftBet to offers its licensees and user an even better online gaming experience that has been seen in the past.

The Italian market is one of the first to have been fully regulated within the mainland of Europe. It is seeing substantial interest from licensees within the e-gaming sector and those obtaining licenses will only increase allowing for more selection for Italian players.
