In the report, PokerScout states that the industry has seen an decrease in traffic by 13% over the course of 2013. This traffic is said to continue to decrease over the next couple of months. As far as we know the operators that offer these poker platforms are working towards finding a solution towards their issue, providing new software’s in order to bring punters back to the poker rooms.

PokerStars continues to remain as the dominant force in the online gambling market, Party Poker and iPoker continue to fall shortly behind PokerStars. These three operators continue to have profitable months in their operations but unfortunately also need to find a solution in order to better the profits they make each year.

PokerScout’s report read the following: “During the last twelve weeks we have seen a decrease in online poker traffic in Nevada, New Jersey and Delaware. During the last nine weeks this traffic has fallen at a rapid rate that needs to be restored in the upcoming months.”

PokerStars has yet to release a statement regarding the position that the online poker market is in. Unfortunately the software’s offered by various developers aren’t offering the experience that punters want.
